At today’s TdZ stage loads of people around me took coffee breaks just before it was too late. Looking at the results in ZwiftPower it seems to me that these riders got a symbol next to their names. Is this correct? If not, what does that looking glass symbol really indicate?
The tooltip says “Searching for team”. Maybe they are looking for people to go have coffee with?

Hi @Erling_Brox, welcome to Forums! I’m Francisco from Zwift Support.
That’s true if you put the cursor in the search green icon it says that look for club. It can be curious to see a lot of mugs in the air suddenly which is why your input.
Just something else to add to clear this up.
You definitely see it more during group rides—there are way more coffee mugs appearing on the climbs than on the flat stretches or downhill.
Coffee Stop Usage Limits
- You’re allowed to take one 30-second Coffee Stop during the first 5 minutes of your ride, and following that, you can take a maximum of one 3-minute Coffee Stop every 33 minutes of the ride.
- Once you conclude a 3-minute Coffee Stop, a 30-minute timer starts. You can only initiate another Coffee Stop after this 30-minute period has passed.
- The Coffee Stop feature is available on all Zwift routes, but it’s automatically turned off during race events, group workouts, and individual workouts. Tip: If you need to take a break during individual workouts, simply hit the “Pause” button in the Companion app or use the Action Bar.
- Coffee Stop is permitted in group rides, but not within the last 5 km of distance-based group rides or the last 15 minutes of time-based group rides.
- This feature is also disabled if you aren’t moving or if you are riding alone (when there are no nearby riders traveling in the same direction).
