Will the new routes be added to zwiftpower? Currently all the events are showing as having an unknown route.
The link in the description that takes you to the results The at Home Cycling & Running Virtual Training App goes to a 404 oops page
Can you match up the race requirements zwift/zwiftpower? I was in the first race but on zwiftpower ! was disqualified for not having a heart monitor. On Zwift it states that only competitors in the A category need a heart monitor but on zwiftpower it says all riders must have a heart monitor. Which is it? I was riding in band C
Will the new routes appear as badges I require?
@Rich I flagged this up to the web team. Thanks for raising it.
When will the new routes be added to the badges section? Completed the long route last night, got the route complete notification but there’s no badge or places for the badges in that section. FWP I know ![]()
Check between the France badges and Paris badges.
I rode Dun Dash yesterday, and that’s where it shows up.
The other newer badges ( Red Zone Repeats, Climb Control, Power Punches, etc ) show up there as well.
Not the best organization of badges, if you ask me.
Ah, Zwift Unlocked – that tantalizing promise of worlds beyond Watopia’s eternal barbecue weather. A virtual cyclist’s dream, right? Swap the familiar loops of your faux Hawaiian paradise for the gritty thrill of Neo-Tokyo’s cyberpunk sprawl or the ironclad canyons of NYC. It’s like upgrading from a vicar’s tea party to a night out in a dystopian fever dream. Except… well, have you noticed how, after an hour dodging holographic ads and steel skyscrapers, you don’t feel invigorated? You feel like you’ve just audited a spreadsheet on existential dread.
Look, I’m all for variety. Watopia’s fine – that perpetual loop of optimism where volcanoes look like they’re auditioning for a Disney musical. But these non-Watopia jaunts? They’re the cycling equivalent of choosing a window seat on a flight to nowhere over a stroll in the park. And here’s the behavioral nudge we all need: we’re missing Vitamin G. Yes, greenery. Not the fizzy kind from a chemist’s shelf, but the proper stuff – trees that rustle like they’re sharing insider tips on life, meadows that make you breathe deeper than a yoga instructor on a deadline.
Why does this matter? Because, as any self-respecting psychologist (or, dare I say, boffin with a clipboard) will tell you, greenery isn’t just pretty; it’s a stealthy mood enhancer. Studies show that even a glimpse of green space can dial down depression, anxiety, and stress like a well-timed gear shift. It’s got protective powers for the mentally frazzled among us, especially those of us grinding away in less-than-leafy lives. Sharper focus? Check. Burst of creativity to plot your next KOM? Double check. In short, Vitamin G turns a ride from “obligation” to “oasis.” Yet Zwift Unlocked serves us up a menu of concrete wastelands. Neo-Tokyo? More like Neo-Glumsy. NYC’s got more right angles than a tax return. We’re trading serotonin for serotonin… blockers.
This isn’t just whimsy; it’s wired into us. Humans didn’t evolve to thrive in Blade Runner sets – we bloomed in savannas, where a bit of green signaled “safe to chill.” Lock us in urban simulations, and our brains start filing complaints with HR. Zwift, you clever lot, you’ve nailed the tech, the sweat, the social sprint. But imagine unlocking green worlds: rolling Cotswold lanes under a pixel-perfect blue sky, or a whisper-quiet Norwegian fjord trail flanked by firs that look like they’ve got their own TED Talk on resilience. Rides that don’t just test your legs, but recharge your noggin.
Fellow Zwifters, let’s agitate for this. Petition the overlords: more Vitamin G, less vitamin-D(ystopia). Because if we’re simulating the ride, why not simulate the soul-soother too? Your future self – mid-interval, mid-meltdown – will thank you. And who knows? It might even make us faster. After all, nothing boosts performance like not hating your surroundings.
What say you? Green dreams or grey screams? Hit reply – let’s grow this thread.
Yours in virtual verdure,
A Greenery-Deprived Wheeler, Dave. Ride On (in greenery).
You’re quite right @Dan_Kothlow, thanks. It’s there but as ou say, not the most obvious place for them to appear.
weirdest rant ever
He obviously needs more scenery to chew on, and he missed Scotland
There is one (1) route that includes any of Neokyo and we haven’t seen the NY routes yet. Maybe “Greenway” will be… green
AI. Notice all the em dashes and pointlessly flowery language.

Wow. AI was modelled on my prose style. ![]()
