Zwift Store: Hub trainer shipping to Iceland

Dear Zwift store and logistics people

Please add Iceland to the list of countries you ship to. As the country is a part of Europe it should not be a difficult task for your logistic partners to calculate shipping costs.

Same here with Switzerland. I reached out to the official Zwift support:

Hi Dime,
Thanks for reaching out to us. My name is Donald an eCommerce Specialist here at Zwift.
I know how important it is for you to share feedback with us regarding the delivery options. I will help you out, and get the most accurate info for you.
As you mentioned, I am sorry to confirm that we do not deliver to Switzerland, we hope to expand our delivery range to that part of the region and we will let you know. I’ve passed it on to the dev team, but we also encourage you to share your thoughts on the Zwift Forums.

Hi @dime_one_MKC,

Did you have any informations about a delivery in Switzerland ?
I’d like to buy the Zwift Ride…added the item in the cart and then…bad surprise.

Upvoting a topic is one way to get attention.
It’s pretty disheartening to exclude the EFTA countries as we have the EEA aggreement with the EU on free and open flow of sales of goods and services.

Yes, moreover, in Switzerland we have relatively high purchasing power and are keen on this type of equipment. I don’t think Zwift would lose money in this part of Europe (the same applies to Iceland).

have you tried to buy through Wahoo? They might deliver to you.

Does this work for you? I don’t have a way to test it.

just an FYI, the US site says the ride is sold out, must be popular!

It seems delivery zone from Wahoo are similar as Zwift…

I’ve received an answer from Zwift.
When you use the product outside one of the supoorted area, you loose the benefits of the warranty…
Well…

Yup, we might have a high purchasing power in switzerland, but in a global view we are probably too insignificant.

The only option is probably to order via a friend in a neighboring country, or via a forwarding service such as meineinkauf or similar. But without any warranty claims. It’s too bad.

You can probably still get warranty support, but without coverage for the shipping costs so you would need to use a freight forwarder every time (and there’s a reasonable chance you will need that warranty service). There are some reports of people successfully doing that, but it does sound a little risky. Perhaps the new Elite Square would be a safer choice. That would also get you a quiet belt drive system that should be usable with an existing direct drive trainer, it has adjustable crank arm length, and you would not be locked in to using Zwift since it’s compatible with other apps.

On the eu wahoo site I can add the Ride with the Core to the cart and Iceland is on the list of countries for shipping, but shipping costs are not calculated and I can not proceed to payment.

Try talking to Wahoo support about it. Sounds like it probably won’t work but asking is free and they are pretty responsive.

another vote for switzerland delivery:(
