Selling the complete kit via Wahoo still requires all of that support. It may be more about modest margins and lack of desire to sell accessories for non-Wahoo trainers. I can understand how Zwift would be OK with selling a relatively low-margin product that mostly locks customers into their ecosystem where they make it up in subscriptions. Wahoo has no such motivation.
Exactly. I imagine the post-sales support is very high – enough so that it’s probably the reason Zwift couldn’t simply just do all their distribution/sales thru Amazon[dot]com.au
Amazon eats margins and requires sellers to provide their most favorable pricing on Amazon or be terminated.
I assume nothing about return rates, etc. We don’t get to know that. All we see are the complaints.
Ok, though since there isn’t any other seller of the frame-only Ride in Australia, Zwift could sell at whatever cost they could live with.
+1 for getting the zwift bike stand-alone in Australia. I would like to buy a zwift bike but I already have a trainer so the current market offering doesn’t work for me. Really annoying to be honest.
Any update on this?
I recent joined zwift about 2 months ago after getting a JetBlack victory trainer and am loving it!
This has also led to my wife and 3 out of 4 kids also wanting to give it a go.
My poor bike’s setup is getting changed multiple times a week. If the zwift ride was available in Australia without the wahoo trainer I would buy one tomorrow.
Secondly, if zwift offered a family subscription we would get it for sure. At the moment the wife and kids are using MyWoosh because it’s free.
I know our situation would be pretty unique but it just really sucks the stand alone ride frame and family subscriptions aren’t available.
Couldn’t agree more Dale. No updates as far as I’m aware. It’s very sad
. I wish they would explain why we can’t buy them here. Is it the cost? Distribution issues? We just have radio silence. @Haziel_P any updates for the Australian community?
Australian riders have spent a huge amount of money on Zwift and Wahoo products, yet we’re still limited in what we can actually buy here. The standard excuse of “logistic and shipping issues” just doesn’t cut it anymore — it’s hard to accept when Zwift is already shipping the full Ride + KICKR bundle into Australia. If the complete bike can get here, so can the frame on its own.
The same problem exists with the KICKR Run. We’re two years on and it’s still not available in Australia, with no clear explanation. Meanwhile, plenty of other global companies manage to ship complex products here without these issues.
What makes it worse is the lack of communication. No timeline, no explanation, no acknowledgement of the demand — just silence. In 2025, that’s not good enough. A simple update, even if it’s “we’re working on it but don’t have a date yet,” would go a long way.
Zwift, Australia is a massive market for indoor cycling. It’s time to stop hiding behind logistics, start supporting your community properly, and give us the same access and transparency that US and European riders get.
Well said Dino.
Get this sorted please!

And the news from the GP Lama Shane! A double win. Thanks so much for the update Shane. You are amazing ![]()
Would of bought one today if shipping was a bit more reasonable. Will just wait for LBS to get them now, no way i am paying $250 shipping.
So close and yet so far. $250 shipping is ridiculous. Hopefully 99Bikes will start selling them shortly.
Both Pushy’s and 99Bikes have both said they cannot get them. Let’s hope things change soon.
Yep the shipping is pretty ridiculous. But it weighs 25.5kg so its kind of not surprising. If you bought the bundle it is still $250 to ship. I bet they are relying on ppl like me who will say “stuff it, I have the V1 Kickr and I don’t want the hassle of trying to sell it at a loss, so I am prepared to wear the $250”!!
Mid December, still no other way to buy this?
$1400 is already a big ask for a heavy steel frame without the crazy $250 delivery, at least give us a way to pick the thing up ourselves.
FYI I’ve managed to convince 99Bikes to order in a Zwift Ride frame to pickup in store. Still 7-10 days, but $250 delivery saved.
