When will the Zwift Ride Frame be available to purchase on its own in Australia? It’s disappointing that it is still not available in Australia after such a long time and it would be super handy for Aussies to be able to purchase it if they already have a compatible Kickr (like me).
Are there plans to make it available to aussies or should we stop hoping?
Any update would be hugely appreciated.
Welcome to forums, this is Haziel from Zwift, I completely understand your concern about the availability of the Zwift Ride Frame in Australia. It’s tough waiting, especially when you’re eager to get started. Currently, the Zwift Ride Smart Frame is available to purchase on zwift.com, but that’s only for those in the United States, the United Kingdom, and the EU.
For our friends in Australia, the Zwift Ride with KICKR CORE bundle can be found at wahoofitness.com, which is also accessible for those in Canada. I truly wish I had better news about the standalone frame, but currently, it’s not yet available in Australia, and there’s no confirmation if it will be released. I also want just the frame only. I have the kickr with smart cog already. My partner would also like to ride but she is way too small for my bike. The frame would allow us to both exercise on Zwift whilst also freeing up my road bike.
What’s the hold up with releasing the standalone ride in Australia?
I would also like to purchase 2x zwift bike frames.. Zwift can you please think about sending stock to Australia 
otherwise we will buy some old bikes and retrofit.
+1 for standalone bike in Australia. I’m not going to spend an extra 1k to buy a trainer I already own. Simply I have just gone with a different training platform for indoor rides.
Plus 1 on this. I too won’t buy another Kickr just to get the Zwift Frame.
Waiting a few months was annoying. Zwift delaying nearly a year without communicating a timeline is infuriating.
Why can’t Zwift drop-ship a container of Zwift Frames to Pushies or 99 Bikes? I get that the company relied on Wahoo for distribution, but how long does their exclusivity last?
And shame on Wahoo. They should sell to anyone with proof of purchase of a Kickr. That’s what a company that cares about customer experience would do.

Ridiculous they can not ship Zwift frames to Australia. I already own a Kickr V6. I could purchase the bundle but then make a loss on reselling the Kickr Core. I would rather just purchase a competing frame.
Same here Jared. I invested in a Kickr V6 before the ride frame was even announced. I don’t want to downgrade and sell it for the lower end kickr just to get the frame. It’s wild.
Me too, crazy the stand alone frame isn’t available. Come on Zwift.
Add me to the list that already has the trainer but would really appreciate the frame so my significantly shorter partner can also easily use it. Cmon Zwift, hook up Australia.
I see that the Zwift Ride is now launching in New Zealand. I wonder if Australia is included too?

Yes, I got the same email in Australia.
But it seems it’s simply that some stores will be stocking the Ride+Core combo rather than only buying it directly from Wahoo
I’m going to reach out to my closest store to ask if they can just get the frame on its own but I’m not holding my breath…(sigh).
I wonder if they are leveraging the Wahoo dealer network, which might imply that they only sell it like Wahoo sells it, with the trainer.
Looks like it. Wahoo is distributed by FE Sports here, their products are in just about every bike shop in the country.
Just checked their website and it shows a zwift product line.
It’s got the Ride+Core bundle, the tablet holder, and the Cog+Click bundle.
Hopefully this is a step towards getting the whole zwift range available.
I wonder why Wahoo would sell a Ride frame without a trainer. With a V6 sure but I’ll be unsurprised if they never sell the frame by itself.
I agree. I think that as long as the Australian market is restricted to wahoo, they’ll likely never sell the frame on its own. In the USA the frame on its own is sold directly by Zwift. The inability to buy a frame on its own means that a whole raft of people who already have a smart trainer miss out on having the frame unless they buy the bundle which in some cases means downgrading their smart trainer, leaving them to try and sell their existing trainer likely at a loss. A wahoo locked sale contract unfairly hurts those who were already in the Zwift wahoo ecosystem prior to the release of the frame. It’s a shame.
Definitely would be nice if Zwift distribution had more reach, though aside from their Wahoo partnership their direct sales territory has shrunk rather than grown. If I were faced with buying the whole kit and selling a trainer, I would sell the new Core still in the box since that would maximize its value.
Maybe if the Ride was a proven entity unto itself, that rarely needed support, returns or replacement under warranty?
