What difference will it make if i don’t use the
Zwift power program for races etc
I have been asked for separate duel reading from a different power meter to the Zwift Trainer

Are you asking for advice on how to Dual record, or how to move away from a need to provide them?
If its the latter, then you are probably being asked for a dual recording for good reason.
I see one person on the companion app with the user name ‘Cozy Loft’ but the user is Private, it does however say you are 73 years old. What equipment are you using for Zwift, is it a road bike on a smart trainer, or some other type of exercise bike?
Usually a request to provide dual recording results from an exceptional performance. It’s not required though a community organizer may request to ban you from their future events if you don’t provide it. If you have a power meter it’s not very hard to do it.
Both
seems that the info give seems to not agree
saying having two of power meters is unreliable
I don’t have one
I have Zwift trainer
Yes I am 74
Most read my heart rate as it is low due to heart meds
I thought this was a game to enjoy not a competing problem
No one gets payed for the riding with pretend updates
Why all the hassle
Some people take racing pretty seriously, and Zwift is full of people with inaccurate trainers and who lie about how much they weigh. Yes this is a game, but people cheat at games all the time, just because it is a “game” doesn’t mean you can cheat does it? Blackjack at the casinos in Las Vegas is also a game, but what happens if you get caught cheating?
Some people at the elite level do absolutely get paid for racing on Zwift, and if they are getting beat by a 74 year old then they have a right to be upset.
So it depends on who is asking you for some level of verification of your performance and why? Are you winning races and riding around with world tour professional - tour de France power/watts?
Your typical 74 year old rider with a reasonably accurate trainer will never be asked for dual recordings because they won’t be producing elite level performances. Question is whether your equipment is working properly, or if you are a truly exceptional athlete, or whether the organizer is really justified in asking for it in your case. There’s not enough information here to say which scenario applies.
Quickest way to compare a dual recording is via Zwiftpower, there are other 3rd party sites that can compare the data - but it isnt really needed as the data doesn’t change if the numbers are out.
As @Mike_Rowe1 mentioned, If you are racing, you are competing. And games have always had rules and an expectation of fairness - That goes from Football, to Monopoly to Fifa or Madden.
The other means for checking your power cost money
If you know a free site tell us all
Ah you want a way to collect data not compare data.. Could have been clearer in your response.
Though, if you want a free way of doing it, go find a long climb, weigh yourself & bike, and give it your all. There is a few ways to then come out with an accurate number with little spend.

If you want to always be in the Zwift Power results then not having a private profile and providing info to race organizers is going to be required for certain events. That’s not a “you” thing, it’s for anyone.
If you want to be mostly in the Zwift Power results then you don’t need to provide information, but expect to be DQd at times.
If you don’t want to be in the Zwift Power results then don’t use it.
Ok thanks
I have cancelled Zwiftpower
What race are just for Zwift power users
All races are sent to Zwiftpower

All races are effectively for only Zwift Power users because that’s the only set of results people care about. You are now effectively not racing because people will ignore you.
If your power is disruptive in the race they may flag you because you aren’t in the results anyway.
