Zwift Camp: Baseline [November 2024]

Me too. I completed the sixth and last stage on Friday. I got the completion email for that stage and Baseline is marked done in both companion and the game. But no strength email. Its been well over 72 hours now.

This latest academy ended Jan 6. So I thought it meant last day was Jan 6 so when I logged on to complete #6, it was gone evidently they meant Jan 5. Zwift should change this because their start dates always start on the published date meaning you can do that ride on that date. Finding this inconsistent and confusing.

I had all settings correct and finished the baseline events days ago with no final results report. I emailed zwift support and they’ve refused to help. Very disappointing.

Does anyone here have an example of the Baseline Report? From what I’ve heard, it really doesn’t tell you anything and is quite useless. For those that are upset they didn’t receive a report or email, it might be helpful to know that you actually aren’t missing anything. As @Paul_Southworth has mentioned, upload all the fit files to a service like intervals.icu (its free to use) and get some meaningful data.

Same to me. Finished all parts, got the three single reports and kits, but no final strength report. Very frustrating. Also I really enjoyed the camp.

I would say it doesn’t tell you much. When I saw this report I immediately hoped the ‘Learn More’ option would possibly compare my Sprint, Attacking and Endurance power numbers, rate them against the Zwift population, and hopefully better explain why I am Versatile. It didn’t it just gave more information on the upcoming challenges. I would agree that my Ride Limiter is Endurance but possibly I over estimate how good my sprint really is !! :muscle:?

Apologies, as it’s quite tall, so my zooming-out to capture it all has probably made it impossible to read. But it’s rather generic, nothing showing where I’d sit amongst those that had completed it for instance (which I think happened for one of the Zwift Academies a couple of years ago).

The “learn more” link goes to here: The at Home Cycling & Running Virtual Training App

Compare that to what you can get from intervals.icu any day of the week, no need to rely on emails that don’t work and can’t be resent. Click a button and get an actual coach if you want.

I completed the final test a couple days ago and I still have not received my strengths report.

Agree a huge amount you can do with Intervals.
Although Versatile might not be popular (and appear to me a little wishy washy) my report and yours show different profile graphs but both are still ‘All Rounder’. Possibly you have to really excel in one particular area to not be an All Rounder / Versatile ?

Same for me, 3 short reports, last one had not even any value, just green, no final report at all.

Sir: your application for membership in the All Rounders Society has been DENIED.

Your obedient servant etc.

Well all those reports look great. Wish I got one after completing Baseline.
I haven’t seen a response from Zwift for those of us who didn’t received the 6th workout and final report. I guess I’ll log a support ticket.

Zwift have not responded to this problem publicly, but as far as I know, if you didn’t get the report, you never will. It would be great if staff would clarify expectations.

Zwift really dropped the ball on this one. Good idea, bad execution.

I understand this is just an event to ‘mine’ data and improve FTP/ZRS calculations, but they should give the users something out of it as well. Comparison against other participants should be a minimum.
Then we have bad communication about what the last test actually was. Half the users not getting the final mails after sticking with the event for six weeks. And the way Zwift says ‘Ends on 5 Jan’ in game without mentioning for example that for Europe this is 7am 5 Jan. I.e. not really 5 Jan.

Well that’s a great shame. So all the trembling before the test about pushing my body to the limit was for nought.

How do I tell my cycling buddy who says I’m data obsessed?

I did write to Zwift support and I got the standard response that it will arrive in 48hrs and get back to them if it doesn’t arrive.

Makes one think twice about doing another Report challenge

This is why I keep recommending that people use a good third-party data analysis tool. If you are data obsessed (no judgement!) then you would probably value that. My choice is intervals.icu which has a new integration with Zwift. I also had data stored in TrainingPeaks and Garmin Connect, so it was easy to export years of data from Garmin and feed it to intervals.icu. What you can get there far exceeds anything Zwift offers.

I do hope you get the promised report from Zwift but you have other ways of satisfying that need that you can access all the time.

Thanks Paul. I’ll check out intervals.icu (which is where I hope you DON’T end up after doing the intervals). I’ve just being using Garmin and Strava.

Hey, I’m not as obsessed as my friend thinks I am… but it doesn’t hurt to look does it.

Hi from Zwift HQ - a number of people were unfortunately subject to a delay in receiving their Zwift Camp: Inside Out rider report after completing the campaign. The team worked long hours to find a solution and a final batch of emails have been sent to those who should have received their report. We do believe there is a bug with enabling marketing emails right now and if an email has not been received, you may be subject to that bug. We have not found a solution for this bug yet so those affected may not receive the rider report. We do, however, believe those numbers to be very small. Congratulations on your hard earned efforts and we hope you continue those fitness gains through to the challenges built to hone your strengths.
