Z-Headphones in Europe?

Sooo, I’ll bite. When will the Zwift Headphones be formally announced and when will they be available in the EU? Asking for a friend…

Thanks!

For Reference:

I suggest asking the manufacturer

@ChristophB

The co-branded headphones are sold by H2O Audio, not in the Zwift Shop. This is a question for the manufacturer.

Quite a lot of money, they look awesome, but over 200 euro is a bit much.

I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I wouldn’t consider wearing these out and about, and when I’m home, I don’t care what I look like on the trainer. Why would one consider something like these over a set of AirPod Pros, which at least also have a microphone to take calls or use discord, and a lot less stuff on your head during a sweaty workout?

Thanks! I was wondering if they might be sold in the Zwift Shop as well (as for example products from Wahoo are). So, thanks for the clarification. Cheers!

These have a mic too

The problem with earphones like those (and the Google ones I also have) is that they are prone to falling off.

Over ear headphones don’t do that. I have AirPods Max but don’t really use those if I’m riding on Zwift, they are a bit too nice for that.

I’ve previously used Beats that clip around the ears and those are better - except that the earpiece broke, on three sets of them. After the third I gave up. They were all replaced for free.

For team races where we talk, this is what I’m using: OpenComm2 Bone Conduction Stereo Bluetooth Headset - Best for Work | Shokz Official

Probably not great for music but I don’t generally ride with music

Hmm ok. I’ve never had my airpods fall out. I was referring to the in-ear type of Airpods. Could well be that different people have different ear shapes though.

These though just look like they’d become a sweaty uncomfortable mess but admittedly I’ve never tried this type of headphone during a workout

If they have the cushions that can be easily swapped (as for Airpods Max) then it’s not so bad. With my Airpods Max I have two sets of the padded cushions, so I swap them from time to time (and clean the other one).

Anyway, they are built and already on the market, so they obviously don’t care about that. The advertising reckons the ear cushions can be washed.

Anyhow - you pays your money and you makes your choice.

Guessing Zwift doesn’t care so much about these; but for anyone who has seen them used by the Alpecin team this year on the tour, apparently they’re limited time:

I heard they are free when you upgrade any halo bike to level 5.
 :joy:  :innocent:  :face_blowing_a_kiss:

I just have large speakers in my garage n play my Rock loud as it’s supposed to be.
Never wear headphones whilst at a concert.

Something more about these Headphones, I have Headphones from a company called valco, and they look very similar with regards to port placement, buttons, design of the earcups…

It seems they come out of the same supplier in far east and are branded for different companies. (Which does not have to be a bad thing, I just thought to point that out).
