I can understand prohibiting steering in races to keep the playing field level, but in the general events (e.g. Sub 2.0) why prohibit steering? If people purchased steering because they thought it added something to their enjoyment of Zwift, why not let them use it?

Why do almost all general rides (not talking about races) prohibit steering?
