Hey, I’ve just discovered Zwift and I’m excited!
I want to buy an exercise bike for this, and one that will change resistance as Zwift goes up a hill for example? I think this will do that:
The next-gen Wattbike Atom smart bike recreates outdoor cycling, indoors. Ride, race, train, spin. App compatible. The best just got better.
Price: GBP 1,749.00
But are there any cheaper alternatives? ie:

Would that work?
Thanks in advance.

If you already have a bike you would need just need a smart trainer to simulate elevation changes.
A Wattbike Atom is a good choice if you don’t already have a bike.
I recommend a bicycle and a smart trainer. That way you have a B bike just in case. I bought a wahoo kickr and got tired of swapping out the bicycle so i picked up a one year old Cannondale Caad8 with 105 components for 600, so now when my A bike is in the shop, i have a bike to ride outside still

N+1… You’re very disciplined to only have an A& B bike. I envy your restraint.
