Where is the pause workout button?

I have recently started back with zwift after a year or so. I remember previously being able to easily pause a workout eg for a quick break and then jumping back on the bike, but now I am having real difficulty locating this button on the companion app as well as on the in game menus. I can see there is a stop button on the companion app however this does not seem to pause the activity. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @Gav_Ponton, welcome to the forums!

If I recall correctly the pause button on the companion app is on the “workout” screen/tab and is in the middle of the screen just under the “dashboard” that shows your current target wattage and cadence.

On the app itself, for windows 10, I think you need to click on the screen to bring up the menu or controls and it should be towards the bottom of the screen.

Thanks for the prompt response. Here are some screenshots from my companion app, I cannot locate any pause buttons along the lines your description:

Zwift itself is running on another android phone so I do not have the luxury of using keyboard shortcuts unfortunately

Are you currently in a workout when you took these screen shots? There should be a new screen for workouts.

When in a workout, that strip of blue buttons at the bottom of the Companion App will have a pause button at about the 3rd button in from the left if you are in the “workout” tab. Scroll that line of blue buttons left in the “workout” tab and you’ll see it.
