To try and avoid more wrong information spreading:

NO. zFTP is not related whatsoever with 1 or 3 minute power. You can change your 3 minute power at will that it won’t affect your zFTP.

Is this a change? At least there are a lot of past recommendations, and anecdotal success stories, of success lowering zFTP scores by doing short duration maximal efforts?

At one point you also wrote this, but I could be misreading what it’s implying?

In case you have done maximal efforts within the last 2 months, in a variety of durations, ranging from 30 seconds to at least 12 min., we encourage the user to set their FTP to the zFTP value.
