Im getting the error message that my trainer is not compatible with Zwift Cog/Virtual Shifting when I try and visual shift.
Does anyone know how to check if my trainer is compatible? I suspect the error message is correct and I have missed this.
I have a Wahoo trainer. But I am not certain on the version. In my Wahoo app it says ‘Wahoo KICKR 867E’
Any Help would be great,
Thanks!
867E is the wireless identifier for your trainer. It doesn’t tell you which model it is. For compatibility with virtual shifting you need a Kickr V6, Kickr Core V1, Kickr Core V2, or Kickr MOVE. You also need to have the latest firmware installed via the Wahoo app, and you need to pair it via Bluetooth. If an ANT+ dongle is present, remove it while you are testing.
To identify the trainer model see this page: https://support.wahoofitness.com/hc/en-us/articles/4407140982674-Identify-a-KICKR-trainer
