I think I know the answer- just want some verification. If I’m using my Stages as my power meter in Zwift, is there any reason to do a spin down of my Kickr? I know Stages is far more accurate than a Kickr Snap- so I prefer to use it over the built in power of my trainer. Am I missing out on anything by running things in this way?
I have the same set up and use the Stages as it’s more accurate and the power numbers on Zwift will match my outdoor rides. The only time I spindown the Snap is during a workout in ERG mode. I calibrate to get as accurate as possible and then raise my FTP # by around 10-12 watts to offset the difference between the Stages and Kick’r. Seems to work for me
