Very low Watt, speed

Hello friends,
i am a complete newbie. My setup is my trekking bike with 29 inch tires, on a tacx blue matic trainer, a speed sensor mounted on the hub of the rear tire connected through bluetooth to Zwift. I have setup the trainer to the best of my ability (friction of the tyre to the trainer, pressure etc) and also have input my bodymetrics data. Also, i have selected my trainer from the list of available trainers and selected teh proposed hardness setting. When i start biking, i get an average of 60 Watts and ridiculous low speed. My son (who is definitely in better shape than me) is getting the same. We can only reach 2xx Watts maxed out and cycling like crazy.
Any ideas if i am doing something wrong? Is there a possibility of a faulty speed sensor?
Thanks very much in advance

Your setup is just a guess as far as watts. You’d have to get a smart trainer like the Wahoo Kickr, Snap or Core, or get a real powermeter, in order to get something realistic.

Using a smooth tire? You can get more speed by selecting a larger diameter wheel when you’re setting up the speed sensor in Zwift. More distance per revolution = faster. It’ll never be accurate but you might be able to tune it a bit.

Take Craigs advice, ditch that trainer/speed sensor combo and get a decent smart trainer… the experience with a good trainer will be exponentially better than what you currently have.

i am using the max tyre size

I’m now having the same issue since updating to windows 11. max effort might reach 90w but it normally fluctuates between 0-42w
