Usability: too little time to select turns in NYC

I said the same thing on Saturday (IIRC) on the main NYC feedback thread. I noticed a lot of variance - one turn seemed to flash by in a few seconds, while another was up for almost a minute.

Vincent said he doubted that was deliberate and was going to look into it.

How's New York?

Here’s some actual feedback. There’s a large variance in the time given to making a turn signal. For example, one turn between “Horse Carriages” and “KOM Arch” (IIRC) was available for a matter of a few seconds. Another one for “Baseball Fields” was up for about a minute! Why so inconsistent?

I have some additional feedback on this, specifically after riding New York. As mentioned in the other thread, sometimes the time available to make a turn is very short. Let’s say I’ve moved the mouse pointer in order to give someone a Ride On. Not unlikely, nor unexpected. But now something pops…
