The z-index of the thumb or banner overlay could use a bit of tweaking.
Similar to how when you’re in a starting pen, the group chat window obscures the nearby riders list, but if someone in the pen gives you a ride-on, an orange thumb appears on top of the chat window next to where their name would be on the nearby riders list.
