The TdZ FAQ says there should be women-only D groups but it doesn’t look like they were added when the events were created. I’m not sure why. The events team would have to explain it (@James_Zwift may know)
I contemplated doing this to get all three yesterday, but I had a nagging concern that the “all stages” item unlocks would somehow be bugged and not unlock with late joins so I just did Makuri 40.
It might be more efficient to do London Flat → late join Makuri 40 → late join Muckle Yin. Time constraint this morning meant I only got the C and B routes done today.
I’m curious why you picked on coffee stops but not 30min late join on a 30min event?
True, but I like both Makuri 40 and The Muckle Yin and wanted to ride at least one of them in full
Now I want to hear from someone whose blood boils over powerups. Cheaters!
I put my trainer and bike on a decline so I get some free Zwift speed–that’ll be all the cheating rage pretty soon.
Not sure if this was just me,
Did anyone have any problems with Zwift steering constantly going to the right on muckle yin tonight?
I spent almost all the ride constantly having to steer left on my play controls to try and stay in a group. I got gapped twice by being pushed out of the draft !
About 6km before the end, I turned off the right hand control and restarted it about a km later, steering appeared to work ok after that.
Everything fine for me. I suspect that is a problem with the steering device.
The auto screenshot for the route badge didn’t do a good job of just capturing the route badge banner after TdZ short ride for me…
Seems like the screenshot should fire before the “go back to …” dialog appears.
Only the case with burrito’s
Agree 100%. Strategy is dead. ooops, I should have probably stuck an emoji on the end…
Same thing happened for me yesterday on the London Flat route.
When you late join the event the new shiny route profile doest work. It stays at the start and doesnt know/show where you are on the route.
I think it was either the Kickr bikr or Neo bike that used to inflate the watts on them if you did this
I am just getting started on Zwift and find it to be a steep learning curve in terms of the gaming aspect. I did the Makuri 40 this morning and had a terrific time. It was fun to get a message during the ride, but I was unable to respond. Wondering if there is any ride etiquette that I should be aware of being new to the platform? I hope to finish the tour. Thanks!
I think there might be something wrong with your controller. Try resetting it. Does it steer right with the controller disconnected?
You can use the Zwift companion app to respond
When the RH control was turned off, the avatar behaved normally, reconnecting the controller a minute later and everything was fine, and a free ride cool down (new activity) with a pacer worked fine.
So I don’t think there was a physical issue with the control. Also, kind of hard to explain…… while the auto right steering was happening, I could use the button on the RH controller to go left if I kept a finger on the inside edge ( as it should) so a button fault is even less likely.
Thanks for reporting this - I sent this back to the team. It doesn’t seem to happen in all cases (I late-joined today as well and the progress/location worked correctly). We’ll look into it.
