Tour de Zwift [2023]

Still broken; I click A, B, C and nothing shows:

Doesn’t look like there’s a 7am TdZ tomorrow? Just goes from 6 to 8am (GMT). Everything else seems to be every hour. That’ll be a big shame!

Edit: Nevermind, doesn’t appear unless you select the TdZ filter

I now have the toggle switch for TdZ, but if I toggle TdZ on, even though other categories are also toggled on, I see nothing but TdZ events.

TdZ completed with the first Scotland C ride. Map looks good and the Rolling Highlands route feels very natural.

I accidentally joined stage 8 short a minute or two late this morning, it wasn’t a problem as it meant I got to ride the whole stage including lead-in, but late join didn’t do it’s standard thing…

First my avatar landed in Makuri, then I was teleported to Scotland, but only to the starting pen instead of joining a group on the road.

Finished all 8 Stages (Cycling), but didn’t receive reward for last stage…

You didn’t get the Mission/Badge, or didn’t get the Kit? I finished Stage 8 and then kept riding for a while, I didn’t get any notification either. But the Kit from completing the Tour was in my garage when I went to look. My wife did Stage 8, ended the ride, and then started a new ride. She didn’t get a banner popping up congratulating her until that next ride (and I haven’t done a next ride yet).

I even got a mail from zwift

Same here. Should’ve looked everywhere first… All fine.

All fine. The ‘Finished all Ride Stages’ Message popped up in my Stage 8 Run =)…

Hi, is there a schedule for make ups?

Yes

Thanks! :slightly_smiling_face:

We are aware of a bug that results in avatars taking improper turns in events when late join is turned on. In order to ensure the best experience for those taking part in Tour de Zwift, we have adjusted the remaining Tour de Zwift events to no longer offer late join. If you have already signed up for an upcoming event, no action is required on your part.

Haven’t seen this mentioned here, yet, but my apologies if it has been. Per the official info on Stage 2: Cycling - Tour de Zwift 2023 | Zwift the Category C short ride for Stage 2 (Richmond) is supposed to be three laps of The Fan Flats (plus the lead-in), but looking at the upcoming events for this stage during the make-up week, Category C is set to just one lap.

(Edit: whoops ignore that previous comment)

I did stage six yesterday, started on time and rode the three sisters to completion but my stage card in the companion app still doesn’t show credit.

I have to say my favourite thing about this Tour has been the double draft - it seems to create more little bunches of riders and less blobosaurs , its also somehow easier to move from one bunch to another. Obviously the rides are well attended, but I’m enjoying the mixed ability nature of these rides more than being dragged along with a pacer or anything where I need to ride with all C’s. Reasonable choice of routes too

Glad you enjoyed the tour but Double Draft isn’t turned on (at least definitely not on the make up stages, I don’t think I had it on for the earlier ones either).

I was just going off the event details on zwifthacks - I guess it was just sheer volume of numbers that made it work - riding with one pace partner to chase and one chasing us seemed to work well too, at least on the short and mid courses
