Time to Revisit outdoor ride integration

With Trainer road integration, I think it’s time Zwift let you earn elevation and miles points for outdoor rides (AS LONG AS YOU ARE STILL PAYING FOR IT (duh)). The weather is nice, and for racers, Zwift is a supplemental bad-weather-training tool. I bet a lot of subs get cancelled when the warm weather arrives, but I bet a lot of those subs would stay if people knew ALL of their efforts counted towards something… Strava, Garmin etc. could easily send the milage and elevation data. And now that TR is integrated, all of those people are probably getting points for their outdoor rides if they have power meters on the bike.
Come on Zwift, it’s time! It isn’t going to hurt your bottom dollar, only help!

jokes one them now, they won’t be getting progress on updating bikes so next fall when they come back to race they will be on slow non-upgraded bikes

You could do this by pairing up your real bike with power meter with Zwift (on a mobile). Go riding and you are done.

Hmm, that might be a good way to do the Mega Pretzel route.

IRL is always better than Zwift.

Except when it’s snowing, icy, and below freezing outside!

That is the problem. zwift should not exist to turn us all into never-ride-outsiders.

Which is exactly the thing zwift is perfect for. But if we are going to do the work we should get credit for it as long as we are paying for the program.

I really don’t want to shell out a bunch more money for a power meter and also drain my phone the whole ride (in places where I often have no service anyway)

I TOLD Y’ALL!! lol
It’s finally happening!!! Yessssss!!!
