I quit and relaunched the app (1.85), and on the third The Big Spin Stage 2 event, I again rode the full route, and the prize wheel spawned, and I got the stage-specific jersey. Now I just need the Granny Visor.

I did the 6:30pm UK time ride and got the Spin

Would be nice if those that finished Stage 2 w/o a spin got credited a common or random Stage 2 item in our garages as acknowledgement of completing the stage :folded_hands:t2:

3x no spin today on stage 2. :frowning:

  1. 18:00 CET Cycle Nation C ride. There wasn’t even a “spin to win” arch at km 19.5 at 18:33 CET.
  2. 19:30 CET Spin-event ride, regular.
  3. 19:30 CET Spin-event ride, late join.

I like the route, btw. :slight_smile:

I didn’t get a spin on my final run through of route 1 on Sunday. Lots of people around me said they did, but I didn’t. Sounds like it was a harbinger of things to come with route 2.

After contacting Zwift via e-mail, I receive a reply which said “You may want to add a post to the Forum thread”. So here I am: I had no spin at the end of my ride too (activity: The at Home Cycling & Running Virtual Training App )

UPDATE: Zwift have been excellent and very responsive via email. They have credited me with the BMX and have a very happy rider.
@Paul_Southworth - Thanks for your input, but I think the “safest” thing I can do is not provide my opinion on the accuracy or quality of your response.

I’m glad Zwift were able to replace your missing BMX.

Did they replace any missing Drops?
Did they explain any reasons why your BMX was missing?

Paul has given many many people the help they need on these forums and is generally spot on with his advice.

You are new here to the forum and have probably not had time to search and read formal Zwift advice about being logged into two devices at the same time. You possibly don’t need to delete Zwift from your phone but if you don’t use it to run the game it might be best. Whether you delete or not you really need to ensure you are fully logged out of the game on your phone when you run the game on your other device or you will likely experience similar issues again in the future.

Thanks Ian. Zwift acknowledged the issue was from their end but did not explain why it was occurring. It is the first time I have had to contact them about any issue so I am honestly impressed with their level of service.
I’m glad Paul has been able to help others, but not on this occasion. I was not logged in to 2 devices at the same time (nor did I say I was), so the point is irrelevant.
Yes I am new to THIS forum but it looks like many people are encountering issues with Big Spin 25, so hopefully I was able to contribute and add to the discussion with my experience :+1:

Unless I’ve missed it, there’s been no news of giving all those riders from the first two stage two events something (drops/prize) for the complete lack of spins for all who participated.

I was going to leave a link to each like the “full results” links I often leave these days to show not just those registered on zwiftpower, but also everyone not registered there, but the page gives no results at all.

Looks to be almost 3500 riders in total.

The way things like this work–if you don’t know–is you come here and say “I have a problem!” and then other people try to help you. And they often throw out multiple suggestions because, shocker, the cause of the problem might be multiple things.

It’s usually considered the decent thing to do to not insult people for trying to help you. It makes you come across as an entitled jerk. If you’re not an entitled jerk (I don’t know you), you should rethink your approach here.

You did say that you had logged into two devices, the laptop and your phone, so it is easy to assume you may have been logged into both at the same time or without properly exiting one of the sessions (this is very common with people running Zwift on their phone).

Glad you worked things out with support.

Any information about the resolution of your problem would be greatly appreciated. My answers are often “this is a common reason” but that is not always the actual reason. Sometimes it’s something else, an unrelated bug or whatever. I will not be offended if you tell me I missed the mark, it happens.

I’ve road 4 Zwift Big spin rides and won nothing but hats. Of course I get drops if I’ve already won a particular hat, but seeing as I have 14,000,000 drops and nothing to spend it on I don’t really care about the drops. Anyways, how many damn hours do I need to ride this dumb event to only get drops or head gear?

You have to do it 24 times

Is there any way to get multiple spins, or did you just ride 24 events?

This week you can get more spins from one ride. Do the ride, finish within 30 minutes and than late join the same event again.
Or start with a late join at .52 You mostly get put into the front of the ride, finish it and late join again.
