The various symbols that pop up when I ride

Hello all.
I am new to Zwift.
I am looking for an explanation for the various symbols that pop up when I ride.
For instance, I had a van coming with me today during my ride. Was that a SAG wagon? Did the gods of Zwift think I was going to need a ride?
I also have had a feather pop up. Was that a low-flying bird? Was that bird going to drop something? Is this virtual ride more realistic than I first thought?

I think a SAG wagon power up would be a fantastic idea. Particularly if it could get me a beer from my fridge.
