Tacx Flux 2 Smart

Hi Everyone.

I am thinking about purchasing a Tacx Flux 2 Smart Trainer that I found at a good price.

I have seen several concerns about issues with the trainer including power spikes and accuracy problems.

Does anyone know if these issues have been resolved or are people still having problems?

Thanks,
Jon

I bought a Tacx Flux 2 trainer in the beginning of November. I have been having issues that sometimes my power output jumps around dramatically - 150, 210, 185, etc all within 1 second. I don’t know if it is the trainer, my bike (drive train needs replacing), or my body, but this seems like it could be what you had read about.

Hi Laurie
Same for me. My conf={HT Tacx Flux S; Cadence + Cadio Sensors; ANT+; PC}.
During training set, I only foccussing on cadence. I count on ERG to set HT resistance correctly even if Zwift Power indicator is, as yours, jumping from low/high/low permanently.
I have set the Power Averaging to 3 sec, but it doesn’t change anything on the display. I don’t know if it is suppose to act on display or on HT.
Anyone ?
Cheers
