Slow mountain bike gearing?

I’ve been Zwifting for a while now and am apparently very slow. I know I’m not fit but it’s a little silly, not being about to really maintain more than 1.4w/kg.

However, I’m sure my setup isn’t helping. I’m riding a Wahoo Kickr Snap on my 1x11 mountain bike which is all I have. This means the gearing is fairly short.

I’d there anything simple that will help me out here and not give me that sense that I’m spinning out, or is it all in my legs?

Make sure your trainer setting is at 100%, increase your chainring to the largest size, and increase your weight. Otherwise all you can really do is ride uphill.
