Thank you for reporting this experience to the forums. We’re now investigating this at Zwift HQ.
It sounds like this is already covered in some comments, but I’d like to make certain that all Zwifters experiencing this have the Trainer Difficulty setting above 0 and that free ride activities are working as expected to get an idea of the scope of the issue.
I will update further as soon as possible.
Update 2026 May 20: This issue will be resolved in the next Zwift game release.
