Are you sure the pink isn’t for no -riding activities? The Fitness Trends tile was updated this week to include running/walking activities.

Yeah, it’s not showing a Zero activity as the screenshot shows.
I commuted on Mon thru Wed (no powermeter), Zwifted on Thursday & Sunday and only walked on Fri & Sat.
Now you mention it, I don’t believe walking was ever included on Trends until I just checked, so I suspect there’s a bug with the new Walk/Run integration?!
From your screenshot, there isn’t any pink on the days you commuted, only grey. They would be correct for what you said were Z1 efforts. And the pink only shows up on the days you said you walked, which is also correct.
Interestingly mine aren’t.
Recorded on my garmin watch and uploaded to both garmin connect and Strava. They are recorded as walks.
Not appearing though on the fitness tracker.
Try logging out of ZC, and back in, to see if that corrects the issue.
Nope. No joy.
I’ve even changed the activity type in Garmin Connect to a run instead of walk to see if that was the issue.
It shows treadmill runs done on Zwift but isn’t pulling data through from Connect.
Checked the connections in Connect and they’re fine.
Nah, it’s not right and here’s the proof.
This is the week ending 1st Feb. Big pink on the Saturday, I suspect relates to my walk. The other activity was a pre-race warm-up and then a TdZ race.
2nd screenshot is with the walking activity deleted. The walk was leisurely, with a café visit and HR no higher than 86bpm! Training Score drops by 1 point, too.
I have no idea what you mean. What you are showing is exactly the expectation. There is a pink bar for the walk you did on the Saturday. Then you deleted the walk and the pink went away. What is it that you’re thinking should be happening? (For what it’s worth, the fact that it’s pink is related only to the activity being a walk or run; it has nothing to do with the zone/effort of the walk/run activity.
Hey all - walks (with or without doggos) are being imported at the moment. We will sort things out so only runs are imported.
There is also Stress Points attached to the colour. If you think a leisurely walk is worth the same as a balls-out Zwift race, why are we all busting our nuts training on Zwift? Both the walk and the rides were awarded 73 Stress Points/TSS. I don’t think that’s normal….
Sweet. As a runner that uses Zwift for cross training, it will be nice to not constantly be told I’m fresh and lazy. When I do an outdoor run and I receive XP for it, where does that XP go? My running level?
Please make that an option, as an ultra-runner I train “walks”, usually with a weight belt/vest, and don’t want to have to classify those as runs. Of course, the assumes two things for me
@Jamin_Cottle welcome to Zwift forums.
Yes, your outdoor run activities counts toward to your Zwift Running level.
That part does appear to be a bug. My weekly goal is just set for time, so I don’t see that issue on my end. He other weekly goal options appear to be ok, too, so it must just be something off about SP. hopefully that will all get sorted when walks are filtered out.
This needs to be an option.
Runs only
Walks only
Runs and walks.
Believe it or not - there are plenty of people who use the “running” side of Zwift for walks.
Yep, give us options!
When you say “Virtual”, do you mean an activity that was recorded as a “Virtual Run” activity type (in the Garmin ecosystem - i.e., where the watch connects as a sensor to Zwift), or do you also mean “Treadmill” activities?
I dual record, but only with the “Treadmill” activity and I don’t see that that activity type is marked as “virtual” anywhere in Garmin Connect.
Tracking walks as runs needs to be disabled or at least configurable. Allowing granular choice for all activity types would be ideal.
FWIW -
My hip injury recovery walks done with the Wahoo app are being imported into Zwift.
I only recorded with the WA.
I’m not complaining, I’m just pointing out that you don’t need to do it on a Wahoo / Garmin device.
I’m guessing that the Zwift importing of activities from Wahoo are coming from the Wahoo Cloud, not directly from the recording device.
I thought any fit file that gets uploaded to the Wahoo app from any source gets imported
