Request to release Zwift semi-public API

There is no process. WTRL are the only ones allowed access.

Similar ideas with us looking at developing racing portal for our next series as its so hard to engage with new teams/riders without making the whole signup and results process slicker.

Which if I’m being honest I’m not a fan off as it just means results for events are spread to million different websites rather than being centralised Zwift but there are no other options.

You’re right - I forgot where to find the “update profile” in ZP. Just found it and updated it now.

Well unless you organized all the data and provided an API for wtrl / zwift to consume.

It certainly seems like they could use the help developing some of the functionality, especially w/ the layoffs and all - like you said.

A bit like ZwiftRacing.app already has

Ah yes, I see that. Guess I’ll have to reach out to Tim at some point.

Have you broken ground on your team management app yet?

working on it.

Well I’d be curious to compare notes if interested. My app is at MyZRL (dotCom) I can load up your team and send an invite if you find it interesting.

My club is interested in merging Zwift and IRL racing stats. I’d be interested in the portal you have and providing feedback.

Hey Chris,

I just replied via email to your contact request you sent earlier. MyZRL currently manages the racing ops for ZRL, but would like to hear what you’re looking for wrt. IRL racing stats as well.

Joe

Out of interest do you have any plans to support other events or is this purely a zrl thing?

It can do other events i.e. the Thursday TTTs, and I used it with ZRun League. As for other leagues or team specific events, should be doable, just a matter of loading the leagues, seasons, and divisions.

Also possible to do non-Zwift i.e. Wahoo X or others, but I’d have to do a little research and development work.

Let me know if you want to get on a call to discuss further.

Joe

Just wonderig what’s possible really.

Zwift really needs an organiser/team portal but they don’t seem keen to improve on zp so it has resulted in a number of organisers having to create their own websites. eg dirt/tfc/chasing tour where as it would be good to have one central place to organise things. Although it would be nice to have a feed into results a bit like how WTRL has but nobody can get that access.

Hey Gordon,

Agree with you on Zwift’s priorities, which is why I decided to build this myself. MyZRL essentially does what you’re looking for. Maybe someday WTRL will give me access to the results as well

Was wondering what progress has been made on releasing an API (other than the Training API). I was thinking about building a DIY pitch platform using a simple linear actuator setup attached to the front fork.

If I can get current climb data from the app, I am sure I could use that to position the actuator.

I think something like this might exist as a retail product, but it seems like it could be a pretty cool DIY project, if I could hook into an API.

Incline data is transmitted via the app. Qz Domyos is using this bring auto incline to treadmills as an example.

Any updates on this? With Strava no longer allowing data sharing for purposes of AI processing, I find that manually uploading zwift workouts to my platforms of choice overly burdensome.

I’ve replaced Strava because of their closed wall nature, should I also now look for a zwift replacement?
