Was doing a recovery ride with Diesel today and the group did did 20 miles in 1 hour, 2 min. Got to thinking about the Rapha Festive 500 and at that pace, you would be riding with Diesel for just over 16 hours (I would probably budget for 17 to account for variances)! Pretty cool perspective for those who want to break it down to 2 hours per day for 8 days…
Yes its 40 miles a day… one Sub 2 and 60 mins with DD would do it…

For me, the 500 is 80km per weekday on Zwift, then two shorter rides on the weekend.
Another easy way to do this is Monday to Friday, 40km morning, 62km afternoon. Then you’ve got it.
The pace partner groups make it easier.
IRL, I did 7 days 145km/1200m+ per day riding outside. Alternating between easy and fast rides. I had to start at 5am to avoid the summer heat.
