For me it seems the problem is just logging in. So on my phone I logged in on 4G, then when I was set up and riding switched over to the WiFi. Worked no problem.

Itâs not their infra, they are running on AWS.
The good news is apparently this isnât the only service thatâs disturbed, large gaming platforms are also experiencing issues, and those have more (and more vocal) users.
Sure, but itâs still one thing to deploy a random website or even a streaming service from multiple locations versus an extremely time-sensitive service like Zwift.
Random searching informs me that AWS has a product called GameLift specifically for something that but I guess Zwift hasnât quite reached the scale where something like that becomes a priority. The way things are going, maybe in a week or twoâŠ

Every MMPG faces the same issue. Thereâs nothing peculiar to Zwift.
Sure, but most AWS users (whether in terms of deployed instances, bandwidth consumption orâŠ) arenât MMPGs.
CloudFront is by design geo-distributed globally, so that shouldnât be a problem. Itâs used by Amazon Prime, Hulu and Slack, among others.
Look at the CloudFront customers - sure, itâs a CDN so less MMPG-specific, but bandwidth is certainly not extraordinary, all rendering is local, they only transfer user data.

In der vergangenen Woche wurden wir auf einige Schwierigkeiten bei der Anmeldung von Zwiftern im Netz der Deutschen Telekom aufmerksam gemacht. Dieses Problem betrifft nur die deutschen Kunden im Netz der Deutschen Telekom - die Dienste in allen anderen Netzen funktionieren weiterhin normal.
Im Laufe dieser Woche haben wir eng mit den Ingenieuren der Deutschen Telekom zusammengearbeitet, und ich freue mich, euch sagen zu können, dass das Problem identifiziert wurde. Es scheint, dass dieses Problem fĂŒr die Kunden der Deutschen Telekom behoben ist. Wir werden die Situation jedoch weiterhin beobachten und euch, falls notwendig, auf dem Laufenden halten.

I have 2 accounts at home, my wife connecting always ok, on my account I see: Failed to log in - check internet connections⊠Itâs trouble for 2 last days. Changing account - all ok, game start, change again - cannot log in ⊠wtf?
There was a small update too this morning. We will see how it works.
I have gotten this email as well. I often complain about Zwift but now it is time to say thank you to Zwift for taking care of this issue, I am very pleased about that.
It looks like itâs actually working again. So the engineers and the zwift management seem to have worked well together after all. Thanks to the people involved. Only the information policy could perhaps have been a little better. I also feel a little sorry for the first level Telekom support. Of course, they can only give up in such matters.
At 6pm today no chance logging in. Only with VPN. Not fixed for me

Restarted my router to make sure that I will be able to get the latest connection config or something⊠no chance again.
And now on mobile data access to Zwift is dead, too. That worked yesterday, but not today. - Telekom ISP for mobile data too.
