Peak watts and zFTP data different on various zwift sites

Why is zFTP and peak watts different on the various zwift sites? It is already annoying enough that we have to navigate so many different zwift sites, but now they each have different numbers. I just did a hard ride to achieve a promotion to Cat C. During the ride the HUD shows the average watts and it showed my average as 216w after 20 minutes into the ride, which should have been enough to get a promotion. After the ride, it announced an ftp increase to 199w, which if divided by 95%, it says my 20min max was 209w. When I logon to Zwift app, my profile says my ftp is 203w, which divided by 0.95 means my 20min peak was 214w. Then in myzwiftcom, it showed my new 20min peak to be 211w and my new zftp is 198. I then went to zwiftpower, it still had my 20min peak as 205w and my zftp as 186w which is a very old number. After several hours, zwiftpower showed my 20min max as 211w, but still has zftp as 186. I thought it may update overnight, but the next day my zftp was still 186w on ZP. Then I go to WRTL site, which shows my zftp to still be 193w. On top of this, it did not show that I got promoted. If myzwiftcom is really accurate and my new zftp is 198w, that translates to 2.6w/kg, which is above 2.5 and should have resulted in a promotion. Can zwift please do a better job of making the numbers consistent across all their sites that report Zwift performance data? Also, can anyone explain what there are all these differences in my number and why I did not get promoted?

we (the community) told them (Zwift HQ) not to use all these different numbers everywhere and use one consistent metric… but what do we know?

what is your ZRS?

No, it should not result in a promotion. You need to get to 2.63W/kg zFTP or 3.2W/kg zMAP to be upgraded from D to C. That is documented here: Category Enforcement Pace Groups

If you feel like sharing some private data from my.zwift.com I can do the calculations for you which will probably be a pretty good estimate of where you stand. The information required to calculate it is the zFTP number, the zMAP number, and the Watts and W/kg for the 3, 5, 12, and 20 minute PRs. Or post screenshots if you prefer.

zFTP is not FTP so you can forget about any comparisons between those two values.
