That is my basic thought as well. What I am saying is the idea that Nigel had is plausible.
Someone choosing to have a short break and take advantage of Pedal Assist for 5 minutes or so will have no impact on any of my riding, as long as itās not in any sort of race.
Practically, there will have to be a Brake or use Pedal Assist choice to be made whenever the rider stops pedalling. Iād rather not have to put up with that.
An option on the bottom Button Bar - alongside the Turn and Camera buttons - to enter Pedal Assist mode might be better than interfering with the current āBrakingā system.
Exactly. No harm, no foul. The general gist of the feature request here is valid. To argue against it seems kinda spurious

totally agree Colin and John. I donāt care if they get a free ride up the mtn. or whatever. for those who need it, itās just a useful feature. Itās just a pp ride and could also be used for other ordinary events too.

Sounds like the solve for your feature request is coming this summer in the form of being called a ācoffee stopā. And this only needed 13 votes to get implemented!
