Is it possible to pair a heart rate monitor after you have started a ride in zwift, short of ending the ride, exiting zwift, then pairing as you re-enter zwift (Like with the companion app, for example)? Thanks!
Yes. From in game click on “menu” at the bottom left of the screen. Go to your pairing screen and you can add a sensor there. Or (if on PC or Mac) hit the “A” key to access the pairing menu.

Be mindful that entering the pairing screen puts on the brakes, so if you are in a group you will be dropped.
