I am a bit stuck for space. I have the bike in front of the tv which has to be wheeled out the way after being used so I don’t get any grief.. So the pedals seem the best option.

The Assiomas are very robust, and the battery lasts for many years. However, if you buy used ones, you can’t know what condition they’re in. Eventually, these two small charging contacts will corrode, and parts will need to be replaced. The photo shows the contacts and charging connection.
What’s nice about the pedals, they are easy to move to a different bike.
If you ride outside, you can put them on the outdoor bike and compare indoor to outdoor power.
They can also go on vacation with you or to the gym etc.
