New trainer same power

it stays on trainer, there was no setup intructions for 8 cassette as its made for 9,10,11. didnt know what else i can do, but gears crunch like billyo when i change them to find my comfiest gear

I’m no expert on this, but I would guess as the Zumo is designed for 9-11 cassette and you are using an 8spd cassette. The spacer provided will not have lined up the gears quite right. I would guess there is no problem in using the 8spd cassette, however you will probably have to adjust your rear mech so that it aligns properly and makes the gear changes nice and crisp. This may give you a bit of extra power and a much better ride.

Problem being you will have to reverse any adjustment when you put your wheel back on and venture outside.

Looking at your pictures, you’re in the largest chain ring up front (hardest gear) but you’re in an easy gear in back.
If you shift to a harder gear in back (smaller cog) and maintain a cadence of 80, does your power increase?

He says that he’s using a 1.85mm spacer though, which is the correct size for an 8-speed cassette on an 11-speed hub.

Should this gap be here between cartridge and direct drive??

Do not calibrate in Zwift…ONLY CALIBRATE USING YOUR TRAINER’S APP
Your bike set up looks fine.
Get clipless pedals and cycling shoes…10% increase in power right there.
Ride some hills. Tell us what your power is at different gradients.
Get a mat so you do not sweat stain that nice wood floor. Or mark it up with cycling shoes.
Is there lube on that chain?? Looks awful dry to me…
