Name banners and power-ups above rider turning red

After the recent update, I’ve noticed that occasionally the name banner and/or power-up above a rider is completely red.  Does that signify something?

I noticed the same issue, this appears to be a bug introduced in the latest update.

The red seems to be random, flashes off and on, and covers the avatar’s flag in addition to their name.

This is something that we’re aware of, and doesn’t signify anything. It seems to be a purely graphical glitch, with little impact on anything aside from the display. We’re working on a fix for it; while there’s no timeline right now, keep an eye out for any future updates!
