More For Mountain Bikers!

I’m digging up a Zombie thread just to remind ZHQ that mountain bikers are people too.
There are NO mountain bike routes on Zwift.
Repack Ridge would be ok if you didn’t have to steer.
The Jungle is still a gravel road.

We need real single track without the gimmick of steering.
Zwift is not suited to steering.
Forget it.
Zwift is very good at riding power intervals.

A mountain bike trail would be one with lots of steep 1 to 3 min climbs that are very steep (12 to 20 %).
Forget super tuck.
On a single track, we usually aren’t seated while descending.
We’re out of the saddle with cranks level, sometimes pedaling.
Some of the so called “less desirable” workouts sort of replicate this.

There is a lot of forum posts about issues with people putting their MTB on the trainer to Zwift.
The biggest problem I see is, in Zwift, they are basically riding their MTB on the road instead of single track.
Just make some trails.
You gotta make trail to ride trail.

Bumping this ancient thread. More gravel roads are incoming with the new Gravel Mountain map that was put into the companion app.

Maybe this new “more efficient” way to build maps will give us more MTB/gravel in the future and not just Zoon.
