We’ve been doing a few meetups using routes that include climbs (around 40 participants). Problem we are finding is the elastic band is stretching way too much on descents.
We end up with riders up to 4 minutes back and it can take at least 5 to 10+ minutes before they get snapped back in.
The riders at the back trying to catch on are reporting that their speed is maxed at 30mph and they can’t go any faster.
Obviously the idea is for the elastic band to keep the group together so looks like it needs a little tweak.
Maybe worth not letting riders fall off the back more then 10 to 20 seconds?
Excluding that it seems to be working very well and not having other Zwifters visible is a great feature.
