Lost training plan progress

Still an issue!

Hi,
I followed the FTP Builder plan several weeks and today Zwift as forgotten all my progess.
It shows no session was done. I don’t know where to continue. This is really annoying.
In a Zwift forum I saw this problem was reported for different plans hundred times already
in November 2022.

What can I do to get my FTP training progress back?

Thank you and kind regards,
Michael

P.S. Debugging info: When I started Zwift today at first everything was ok with the FTP plan. Then I selected a workout in week 3 and clicked the button to start. I think the button didn’t show as usually the text “start workout” but strangely “login”. After this all progress information in the plan was lost, the plan was empty. As if I never did any of the FTP workouts.
I use the Zwift Android but not for the training plans.

Are you logging in on two different devices? Doing that can be deeply confusing to Zwift.

Same here, logged in today, FTP builder activities did not show up. Navigated to plans, FTP builder which showed competed activities but did not allow me to star one. Only option available for me to pick was to “enroll” which obviously reset the whole plan :woman_shrugging:. Now it’s not like the end of the world, I’ll just start some random activity instead but nevertheless the issue was apparently raised in the forum multiple times and for not seem to have been addressed properly.

Answer from Zwift via email:

I understand that it can be annoying to lose your progress in FTP Builder because I know how much effort it takes you to do these workouts. Don’t worry, I’m happy to help you today!

I was reviewing your case and based on what you have mentioned, I would like to explain to you how FTP Builder works.

FTP Builder for 6 weeks is a workout that, despite having a certain time, if it is discontinued for a few days, the time in the workout continues. This means that if you have been doing it for 2 weeks and you are away for a few days, the time in the training continues even if you have not done it these days. When the time limit is over, the workout will end and you will have to start it again.

In addition to this, there is no way that this progress can be recovered, so when you start an FTP Builder you must follow the training days constantly.

In addition to this, you mentioned that you can no longer find FTP Builder on Zwift. This is because this training now has a different name which is 6wk Beginner FTP Builder.

You can search for it like this and start it again if you wish.

I know this is probably not the answer you were expecting and I’m sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. However, I want you to know that Zwift does everything possible to provide a suitable solution for all our members.
