I use Zwift through my phone. While riding my signal is constantly dropped. I’ve put new batteries in the cadence meter which didn’t help. My phone is within 2 feet of the sensor. What is the issue???
I’m guessing you are using Bluetooth: https://support.zwift.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000111566-My-Bluetooth-signal-is-Dropping?section=201145295
Thank you so much. That may explain it. I use wireless headphones and normally they are fine alone. However, this morning my son was using his also and my husband was on the xbox with wireless controller. Maybe that was too much other signal. Thank you for the link.
Greetings,
Not sure if this will provide any insight, but when I initially started using Zwift, I set up to use BlueTooth and experienced numerous “signal drop” problems which would cause the Zwift session to end.
I switched to ANT+ (Garmin ANT+ dongle from Amazon), and have not experienced any signal problems since switching to the ANT+ many months ago.
I realize everyone’s situation and environment is different. but switching to ANT+ solved all the issues I was experiencing. However, In the Zwift community postings I have read that many users had significant problems with ANT+, and switching to BlueTooth solved their issues.
But for me ANT+ solved my issues and frustration. May be worth a try.
