Did this ever get sorted for the Android version of the companion App ? as soon as you move to a large tablet you want this in Landscape not Portrait so you don’t need to keep swiping the bottom buttons. The option would also allow for a better mounting setup on some bikes.

Lack of joined up thinking by Zwift. Sell a bike with tablet holder and then make an app you cannot rotate. Genius.
Over 7 years and still not such a basic UI feature added..
