guessing this is a waste based on the age of this, but it would be nice for this to work.

I seem to remember that I signed up for this request around 2018 or so already; well, anyway I did help myself through all those years with the Android app āRotation Controlā by ScrapeMyrtle from the Google App Store. Got a new Lenovo M10 Plus 3rd Gen Tablet now, running on Android 12, and again the app does force Companion to widen across the whole screen (the tablet itself, without use of the app, is already able to force Companion into landscape orientiation, but only in the size of a smartphone display; it does not widen the app to full-screen mode). Neat, and something Zwift still should just implement.

Slightly off topic but i use the rotation control app to turn my screen upside down on my phone as I mount my phone on my stem to run the companion app and it means the charging cable goes out of the top not the bottom!
Still need for this function, this my second reaction since 2019 ;-(
Please Zwift put some effort in the Zwift Companion App to implement landscape feature.

Not remotely close to a record! But votes donāt necessarily correlate to what the company focuses on. Itās not a democracy. The most-voted feature requests are probably the ones that are popular with users but the company has no plans to work on, so they hang around collecting votes for years.

seems a bit pointless this voting system would be better when a post reaches certain number of votes we got an official comment to understand if itās anywhere on the roadmap or never going to happen then we can stop wasting time discussing
but hey vote added up to 301 now

Can I add another vote. This is absolutely crazy that it hasnāt been implemented. I want to run the companion app on my Samsung Galaxy Tab in landscape so I can type messages easily to other riders.

Any chance of this in the future updates
Hi All,
it would be great to allow Companion to show in landscape mode. That would allow me to use the app on my iPad putting it into a Tacx mount on my bike.

I use the companion on a tablet and I would really like to be able to have the tablet in the landscape orientation, but companion only seems to work in portrait.

I wonder if Santa will bring us landscape mode for our companion apps this Christmas 
Iām sure Christmas 2023 will be different to Christmas 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022!
