Today my Kickr Core started making a low rumbling sound with vibration. The unit still provided accurate power readings, but it sounded like a jet engine on a plane before takeoff. Also accompanied with a knocking sound, like something was loose in the unit. I’ve watched a couple videos on YouTube and I’m comfortable attempting to service the unit myself. But my concern is that if it is a bearing issue, I might be wasting my time and would be better off contacting Wahoo since I don’t have replacement bearings. The Kickr Core is a couple years old, way past the initial 1 year warranty. Thoughts?
Contact Wahoo, same happened to me after the 1 year warranty had lapsed and they sent me a refurbished model anyway.
