It appears we will be going to london this summer with zwift.
“Our new partnership with Zwift means that thousands more riders from all around the globe can be part of the world’s greatest festival of cycling,” said Hugh Brasher, Event Director for Prudential RideLondon. “There will be a week of festival activities hosted on the Zwift platform in July, including virtual versions of the women’s Classique and our two famous sportives: the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 46 and 100.”
I’m amazed there isn’t loads of chat about this. There was also none (except that started by me) in game last night either. Very strange.
Personally it seems too good to be true. Has to be a catch…
The catch seems to be, according to the Twitter feed, that it’s a “shorter, fun course”. Shame.
If they’d been able to do the full course, with several start points to enable it to be done in three or four sessions, it would have been great.
Well I am dissapointed as it built up to be the big event, however I’m not surprised.
