I run Zwift on my iPhone and companion on my iPad. Because the iPhone image fits better on my tv from my iPhone.
Now using companion on the ipad wastes a lot of screen space, if zwift were to enable split screen i could run discord right along side.
Is it a huge nightmare deal to make it so? I can’t believe it is if the company i eork for can do it on their apps.. i am sure zwift could make it so!
This! I’m running two ancient iPad minis for companion and discord/zwiftpower, they finally need replacing so was hoping to split screen on a cheap full size iPad but just discovered no dice with companion in split screen on iPad so searched here. Guess it needs native iPad app support not running iPhone app on iPad.
This may not help with the ancient devices, but iPadOS 26 supports multitasking with windowed apps. Here is a screen capture from an iPad Air 4th Gen [2020], showing the ZCA alongside another app.
