No, I haven’t

She’s a long one but thank you for finally completing the 4 square block!

Well, I did sprint training this week instead of climbing or time trials, so I would up with 9 or 10 units.
My schedule 10 points a week, would be 25 weeks plus one for vacation.
My goal, August 10 2025.
(If I get 12 points a week, then working socks August 2026.

What does your schedule look like???

Since this month’s major events (ZG25, Big Spin) are not attracting my attention, I’ve been focusing on longer free rides to work on the factory challenge. A 2 hour ride that is not super hard is about 2% progress toward the first milestone. Lately I’m doing 90-120 minutes per day, which I can’t keep up indefinitely but progress is good and I can continue that for a while. I’ve repeated the ZG25 Queen route a few times, basically zone 2 on the flats, something like tempo on the first two climbs, threshold on the last one and hammer the last 1km or so.

Would be nice if we were able to see how many units each ride gives you in the activity summary on the companion app or my.zwift.com

Currently, it seems the only way to know is to manually keep track of how many units you have at the beginning of your ride by checking on the home screen, then checking again after the ride on the home screen. I don’t believe the number is available anywhere else?

Given that you can’t see your actual XP number except on the end ride screen, I’d say you are correct.
I wouldn’t expect Zwift to show the units per ride for a selectable challenge anywhere.

HI @Alessandro_Bononcini

Yup, that’s odd looking. I’m looking at your server logs for the past month and I’m seeing two odd things.

  1. Each time you log in to Zwifft, you’re not pairing to a trainer signal. How are you riding in Zwift? Do you have a second account?

  2. I’m also seeing you log into Zwift, but most times, there’s no matching log out step. Mostly on a PC, but also an iPhon10 and a Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro tablet. When we see this - one possibility is that Zwift app is crashing. Is that the case for you, or are you just not ending your Zwift session in the expected manner?

If you could see it in companion app, that would be ideal.

I agree it should be displayed somewhere but in the meantime it seems like quite a simple calculation to work it out after a ride if you wanted to.

Yes like the other “challenge” banners for big spin and zwift games.

Is there a conversion on this challenge to something like Strava might have, like kilojoules?

(KJ divided by 3.6) all divided by bodyweight will give you your magic number :+1:

Can we get a bonus for this challenge if people late join events? :cowboy_hat_face:

Hi, the screenshot it’s send me from my friend, so i’ ve ask it on this thread, maybe like you suggest he doesn’t quit zwift in the right manner o r crash
1 This is strange for me that you told me about a trainer signal, I paired my Elite Suito with ANT+ usb stick both “power source” & “controllable” and it’s work fine
from the log file
“[10:14:39] Controllable Trainer: ANT+ Trainer 44262 (0x11ACE6) [ANT]
[10:14:39] Power: ANT+ Trainer 44262 (0x11ACE6) [ANT]”
Thanks for your reply

The lightning socks I got from ‘Factory Tour’ challenge don’t modify the length,

while the other socks modify the length setting properly.

According to zwift news site -zwiftinsider.com,
cool animations of the lightning socks are as follows:

  • 1.5 W/kg: Sparks and Tire Halo (both Lightning & Aero Lightning socks)
  • 2.1 W/kg: Tire Sizzle Flash (both Lightning & Aero Lightning socks)

However, when I actually use it, I find that there is no animations as the above mentioned power/weight ratio.

I needed a large power/weight ratio for the ‘Sparks and Tire Halo’ animations to appear, and the ‘Tire Sizzle Flash’ animations needed to reach an extremely high power/weight ratio (like a sprint) to appear

You seem to have earned those socks unnaturally quickly.

4w/kg for 3.5hours/day for 18 days (since the challenge was unlocked), by my math.

Regardless, if they have upped the limits on making the sparklies appear, I will be happy. 1.5w/kg is absurdly low to have sparks shooting out of everyone’s wheels.
