I was unable to draft in a D event, I had to go at 3-4watts per kg just to keep with beacon going at 1.5-2.5watts per kg. On sprint section of approx 14 seconds the beacon and group would go from 8 seconds behind to 6secs ahead just after the sprint line and within a min despite maintaining approx 3.5-4.5watts per kg.
