Indoor cycling body strain


I am finding the indoor cycling more taxing on the body as my back and shoulder feel more strained after a session compared to on road cycling.  Does anyone else experience this and have any ideas why this is happening ?


Less body movement when using an indoor trainer would be my guess.

ill give that a shot.

Opposite for me. Outside I’m balancing me and the bike, and oftentimes fighting wind. Indoor my upper body is very relaxed.
