Individual power zones

I have just started using Zwift again and I have just noticed a issue with my power zones.

So, I do my FTP tests in a lab with lactate and vo2 max and my zones are very much custom and full outside of the standard percentages. for example, my top end Z2 is 288w based on my ftp of 349w this is based on my lactate levels etc and therefore different to the normal percentages that Zwift uses, Zwift has it at 262w

Now, this isn’t too much of a problem as my workouts are taken from Trainerroad and Zwift doesn’t change the watts of the intervals, so my training is correct but it a little annoying that Zwift has me in z3 when im at the higher end of z2. equally has me in z1 when I’m at the lower end of z2

Can you change the zones manually?? I think I know the answer but thought I’d ask in case I missed something.

Thanks

Neil

You cannot change the power or HR zones in Zwift

Yeah, it’s a bummer, particularly HR zones since Zwift does not use resting HR in their calculations. My Z2 HR zone on intervals doesn’t even overlap with Zwift. So i imagine power zone customization is important for anyone who has done an actual lactate test.

yeah, I think it is important to have custom zones. I seem to remember being able to change them years a go, or am I making that up? :joy:

I’d love to see this option added. It is annoying to have custom zones set up in Garmin Connect that are different than what Strava has.
