When riding in a group ride or workout with friends its hard to find each other and feel like you’re actually together within a large group. It would be great if friends you follow could show up on the leaderboard. Instead of listing all the riders the between you and friends maybe the list could be “broken” to eliminate those in the middle… This would compress the list and possibly let you see your friends instead of the rapidly changing dynamic view for the current mode of displaying the leaderboard.
Possibly a simpler compromise would be to select the display range (W/kg) you’d like to see for the leaderboard. This would give you the zoomed in view of your immediate W/kg neighbors, or a zoomed out view (for instance covering a range of 3W/kg from top to bottom for leaderboard display)
