Hi! I have searched this forum and googled a lot and tried everything I have found about this problem.
Our problem, me and my daughter have two separate accounts on both Zwift and Strava, both connected to own personal accounts (emails). I have cross checked our settings and everything looks identical.
For me, when I finish a zwift session the map, data and all images (screen shots) are automatically uploaded to Strava. But for me daughter is only the map and data uploaded.
We share Apple TV for biking, and use the same iPad for running, same behaviuor on both devices, no screenshots for her.
She is 17-years old, are there any age restrictions for image/screenshot uploads from zwift or on Strava? That is the only difference I can think about.Anyone know something about this?
I really hope someone has any more ideas then the usual check “image upload set to always” and that the connection to Strava is enabled - as far as I can see is everything ok - but I can be wrong.
Can it be something with 2 accounts on the same device?
I have even tried to reinstall zwift on Apple TV, and to change her password so she did get a forced logout and had to login again.
Shuji at Zwift HQ here. Are you saying it’s only on Strava? You didn’t say if images are saving to your daughter’s account in her Zwift Activity feed - either on the zwift.com/feed webpage or on the Zwift Companion app. Please confirm if images are showing up on the Zwift end of things?
If that’s the case - it’s possible this is a restriction on Strava’s end. Their privacy control article for U18 accounts doesn’t mention saved images, but you might want to ask the folks at Strava too.
Thanks for your input, I will have a check with Strava and the U18 accounts policy…
I forgot to write that, theimages are saved and visible in companion and web feed, so it is really something between Zwift and Strava and I do suspect Strava. She is only 4 months from 18 so maybe it will fix iit self within a near future. I will also do a quick test to change her birth year to see whats happens.
